Kiranjit Baruah

Kiranjit Baruah is a photographer, visual storyteller and educator with over 18 years of professional experience spanning photojournalism, travel documentary photography, creative direction and photography education.
An alumnus of the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts and Communication, New Delhi, he has also trained under Padma Shri Raghu Rai. His professional practice includes projects with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Delhi Government. A Certified Trainer from the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC), Kiranjit has mentored over 1,500 students.
At the Faculty of Fine Arts, he brings together professional practice, visual inquiry and experience-led learning to nurture emerging photographers and storytellers.
