Satya Narayan Mewara

Satya Narayan Mewara was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and received his M.A. in Political Science from Jodhpur University. He began his political career as a student leader and joined the Congress party in 1974. During his time as a student leader, he served as the President of the Student Union at New Government Higher Secondary School in Jodhpur from 1974-76. He was also a Working Committee Member for the Student Union at Jodhpur University from 1978-1980.

Mewara went on to serve as the Secretary of the Pali District Youth Congress in 1982. He was also associated with the "Youth Co-coordinator Programme" Training Camp held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi in 1983. In 1984, he served as a Youth Co-ordinator in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh and in Jodhpur, Rajasthan from 1984-85. Mewara organized a training camp for Youth Motivators in Jodhpur in 1985 and another in Ghanerao, Pali, where he served as the Youth Co-ordinator. He also served as a Trainer for the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and participated in many Padyatras held under the Indian Youth Congress and Development Centre of IYC. Additionally, Mewara participated in all rallies and programs organized by the All India Congress Committee and Indian Youth Congress.

Mewara has held various positions within the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, including serving as a member from 2001-03 and as the O. Secretary. Currently, he is working for the Congress Party.

Apart from his political work, Mewara has been involved in numerous social activities. He served as the X-General Secretary of the Rashtriya Yuvak Parishad Rajasthan, as well as a member of the Advisory Committee for Akashvani Jodhpur. He also served as the X-General Secretary of the Society for Curculisum and as the Secretary of the Mewara Samaj in Rajasthan. Mewara is currently the Deputy Secretary of the Ossian Sachchiyay Mata Trust in Ossian, Rajasthan.
